MAJOR DIVISION

 

Made up of players primarily within league age 11 and 12 years of age. 

Once registrations have completed, the decision of how many 10 year old's will be needed to complete each team, will be made.

Drafts will take place on Tuesday, January 29th at the Little League Complex on Park Avenue.  Only Managers need to be present along with the VP of Majors, Player Agent and President of the league.

Once you have been notified that you are a Major Manager, you will need to go to the City of Apopka  Police  Department located at Park Avenue and 6th Street to have your background check completed   which will include the taking of your fingerprints.  If you work for the school, city or have recently had your  prints done through the Rec department or with Pop Warner, please take with you the proof that this has been  done.  You may still have to have it done again, that decision is totally up to the city.

Coaches will be appointed after the drafts have taken place.  Each manager should provide to the League President their choice(s) of coach so that the board can meet and place their votes.  Please come to the draft prepared with this information.  Once appointed, the coaches will then need to go to the City of Apopka Police Department and have their background check completed just as the managers.  Coaches will not be allowed on the field with the players until the board has received notification from the City that the background check has been cleared.
